WCS swept Indianola as the Lady Stars won 39-28 and the Stars beat the Colonels 46-37.
Winona Christian was then swept by Oak Hill as the Lady Stars lost 59-29 and the Stars fell 73-56.
Winona Christian was scheduled to return to action this week as they host Canton on Monday and Winston on Friday in district contest.
Winona Christian Boys 46, Indianola 37
The Stars started fast and held on to take a nine-point win over the Colonels.
Winona Christian jumped out to a 20-3 lead in the first period but struggled to score as they held on to take the win.
Reese Johnson and Brannon Hill each had 12 points while Jack Sorgen had 10 points.
Winona Christian Girls 39, Indianola 28
The Lady Stars pulled away late and took an 11-point win over the Lady Colonels on Monday.
Winona Christian led 7-4 at the end of the first period and then outscored the Lady Colonels 10-9 to lead 17-13 at the half. Indianola took the third quarter 7-5 but Winona Christian outscored the Lady Colonels 17-8 to take the win.
Lucy Oliver led Winona Christian with 10 points while Kaylah Brooke Varnes and Sara Beth Rawles each had eight points apiece. Allie Leach had six points while Lennie Kate Wood had four points and Malaina Kuhn had three points.
Oak Hill Boys 73, Winona Christian 56
The Stars weren’t able to hold onto an early lead and dropped a 17-point decision to the Raiders.
Winona Christian jumped out to a 24-5 lead in the first period before Oak Hill outscored the Stars 20-9 in the second to cut the lead to 33-25. Oak Hill then outscored Winona 18-11 in the second period to cut the margin to 44-43 going to the fourth. The Raiders then pulled away and outscored the Stars 30-12 in the fourth to take the win.
Brannon Hill led Winona Christian with 17 points while Reese Johnson had 14 points. Jack Sorgen had 10 points and Reese Cooper chipped in seven points.
Oak Hill Girls 59, Winona Christian 29
The Lady Raiders started strong and cruised to a 30-point win over the Lady Stars to open district play on Friday.
Oak Hill outscored Winona Christian 15-5 in the first period and 15-8 in the second period to lead 30-13 at the half. The Lady Raiders continued to extend their lead in the second half and outscored the Lady Stars 14-10 in the third and 15-6 in the fourth.
Allie Leach led Winona Christian with 14 points while Malaina Kuhn had eight points. Kaylah Brooke Varnes also chipped in five points.
