The Junior Auxiliary of Winona's Provisional class planned and executed a hygiene project for 4th-6th grade students in Carroll and Montgomery Counties.
The Provisional Class took on an initiative titled "WASH" (Wild About Student Hygiene), and planned educational sessions for students at Marshall Elementary, Winona Christian School and Carroll Academy.
Nurse Practitioner, Amy Gammel, from Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital, led sessions for both girls and boys, ensuring tailored discussions on the importance of personal hygiene.
Junior Auxiliary of Winona thanks the generous donations from Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital, Carroll County Development Association, Carrollton Mayor Pam Lee, Mrs. Mary Fluker, Sugar Mullins, Holiday Inn Express and Hoover Dental. With these donations, JA was able to provide personal hygiene packets to all 4th-6th grade students. Hygiene packets were delivered to Winona Elementary school as well. Over 500 students were able to receive hygiene items from this project.
Provisional members include: Aretha Amos, Jennifer Ramage, Jenifer Houston, Lauren McBride, Aly Blaylock, Cortney Hurst, Tara Moore, Adrienne Greenlee
