Carroll County Sheriff’s Department deputies were recently dispatched to a George Street residential home in North Carrollton in reference to a burglary call. Their quick actions led to two arrests in a matter of hours.
The burglary occurred on Wednesday, Feb. 7. Deputies promptly developed suspects in the case and later conducted a traffic stop on the suspects, which were seen in the area of the burglary.
Upon searching the vehicle, deputies uncovered illegal narcotics, a firearm, and items which had been reported stolen from the George Street residence. Charles Raymond Jordan Jr., 20, of North Carrollton was arrested on the scene and charged with Burglary and Possession of Methamphetamine. Hunter Rye Robertson, 23, of Coila was also arrested on scene and charged with Burglary.
Both men were booked into the Carroll Montgomery Regional Correctional Facility later that day. An initial appearance was held Friday morning, Feb. 9, at which time Judge Ronnie Hicks set a $20,000 bond for Robertson and a $50,000 bond for Jordan. Both men remain in the Carroll Montgomery Regional Correctional Facility at this time awaiting further actions.
