The Winona High School girls and boys soccer teams both went 0-2 in games played last week.
The Lady Tigers dropped a 4-2 decision to MSMS in a Region 4, Class I contest on Jan. 14 in Columbus. Anna Beth Walton scored both goals for Winona, which is 3-1 in region games.
Winona fell 5-0 to Strayhorn High School last Friday to fall to 8-4 overall.
The Tigers lost 3-1 to MSMS to slip to 2-2 in league games. Hammond Austin scored the lone goal.
Winona lost 3-0 to Strayhorn to fall to 6-6 overall.
Winona was slated to play host to Independence High School Tuesday, weather permitting. They visit region foe Philadelphia Thursday and close out the regular season on Jan. 28 at home against Kemper County in region games.
