Carroll Academy falls 19-0 to Marshall

The Carroll Academy offensive woes continued on Friday night as the Rebels were shut out for the first time since the opening game of last season.

Marshall used a stifling defense and limited the Rebels to 211 yards of total offense in a 19-0 win.

Carroll falls to 1-6 on the season and will travel to North Delta this week.

Rebels recharge during bye week

Stars dominates North Delta 42-21

Winona Christian football coach Ashley Kuhn was worried about the North Delta offense heading into Friday night’s contest.

But the Stars used a bend but don’t break defense and scored 28 unanswered points in the first half and cruised to a 42-21 win over the Green Wave on Friday night.

He was right as the Raiders scored on their first four possessions and used a pick six to take a 35-8 win over the Rebels on Friday night.
