Sups tackle prison needs, courthouse bids

The Monday, Jan. 27, Carroll County Board of Supervisors meeting began with a prayer given by North Carrollton Mayor and Emergency Management Director Ken Strachan. It was noted at the beginning of the meeting that the meeting would be conducted by Vice President Claude Fluker as Board President Jim Neill was absent from the current meeting.

CCSD elects officers, accepts MEMA grant

Thursday evening, Jan. 16, the Carroll County School District Board of Education held their regularly scheduled meeting. Prior to the meeting, new Board member, Meridith Cobbins, was sworn into her position as representative of District 4, the seat recently vacated by former Board President John Phillips.
