Carroll Academy of Carroll County held their homecoming parade last Friday, Sep. 26. Starting well before the 1 p.m. anticipated start time, onlookers began gathering along George Street in North Carrollton and Lexington Street in Carrollton.

Carroll Board of Supervisors Meet

This morning, Sep. 29, the Carroll County Board of Supervisors met to discuss all manner of business. During this meeting the Board revisited the topics of designating a county disaster recovery center and the need for a county clinic as well as discussing recent renovation efforts on the Carrollton Courthouse.

Courthouse Renovations Stall

Renovation work on the historic Carrollton Courthouse has temporarily stalled this week as the county's Board of Supervisors works to reassess guidelines for the Mississippi Department of Archives and History grant. Currently, the Board is seeking approval from MDAH for the repainting and facade work of the courthouse.
