Malone remembered for service and selflessness

Thursday, Nov. 13, Winona and Kilmichael Communities said their farewells to an outstanding individual during funeral processions. Shawn Timothy Malone Jr., known as Tim to most, tragically passed away following an automobile accident on Nov. 8. Malone was employed at Biewer Lumber in Winona until his passing.

Veterans Day ceremony honors local veterans

Tuesday, Nov. 11 starting at 11 a.m. the Thomas Rodney Chapter of the NSDAR hosted a veterans day program in the Montgomery County Courthouse. The program began with the observance of two minutes of silence for fallen veterans.

Duck Hill addresses building concerns

Monday evening, Nov. 10, the Duck Hill Board of Alderman held their regularly scheduled monthly meeting which began promptly at 6 p.m. The meeting lasted approximately an hour and thirty minutes in duration, with roughly thirty minutes being spent in an executive session.
