Carroll County officials met at the recreational park on Highway 35 near North Carrollton after the September Board of Supervisors meeting in Carrollton where white rocks were delivered to begin the construction of the walking trail bridge that was washed out during the 2019 flood. “Carroll County was awarded $155,284.93 in FEMA funds to rebuild the bridge. Through documentation and working with state and federal officials,” Carroll County Emergency Management Director Ken Strachan said.
