Children from across Montgomery County are invited to a Summer Feeding Program in Winona.
Blessings for All Empowered by Faith and the Mississippi Food Network will host the program at the Housing Authority pavilion at 902 North Union Street, beginning at 11 a.m. on June 5, according to Calbrina Woods, founder of Blessings for All.
She said children ages 0 to 18 years are welcomed to come and enjoy “highly nutritious foods” at the pavilion until the end of July, Woods said.
“You must eat food on the premises,” said Woods. “I can feed as many as will come. Right now, I can feed 50, but if more come, I can request more [food].”
This is the eighth year the groups have welcomed children from all over the county to come and fellowship together over meals served throughout the summer, according to Woods.
