The Carroll Academy Rebels picked up three more wins last week and ran their win streak to 10 games.
The Rebels swept three games from Central Holmes, winning 17-0 on Tuesday and then took both games on Friday, winning 11-1 and 17-0.
Carroll improves to 17-7 on the season and will finish out the regular season and go for a district championship as they host Winona Christian on Tuesday. The Rebels will pay at Winona on Friday for a doubleheader.
Carroll 17, Central Holmes 0
The Rebels scored multiple runs in four of the five innings and took a five-inning, run-rule win over the Trojans on Tuesday.
Carroll scored three in the first, two in the third, three in the fourth and finished with nine in the fifth.
Carroll had 15 hits in the contest. Maddox Carpenter was 3-for-4 with four runs scored while Lofton Holly was 3-for-5 with a double, three runs scored and two RBIs. Ryan Logan was 2-for-4 with a double while Reid Blaylock was 2-for-4 with a double, two runs scored and two RBIs. Reed Thomas was 2-for-3 with two runs scored while Jake Truitt singled, scored twice and had four RBIs. Brennan Blaylock also singled and drew three walks.
Logan started on the mound and pitched all five innings, scattering two runs and five walks while striking out nine.
Carroll 11, Central Holmes 1
The Rebels only gave up two hits and took a six-inning, run-rule win over the Trojans in the first game of a doubleheader on Friday.
Carroll scored single runs in the first, fifth and sixth innings while scoring four in the second and two in the third and fourth innings.
Carroll had 15 hits in the contest as Lofton Holly was 3-for-4 with two doubles, two runs scored and two RBIs. Ryan Logan was 3-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs. Ethan Mims was 3-for-3 with a home run and two runs scored. Brennan Blaylock was 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBIs while Maddox Carpenter was 2-for-4 with a double. Reid Blaylock was 2-for-4 with a double, triple and two runs scored.
Holly started on the mound and pitched four innings, giving up two runs on four hits while striking out seven. Brennan Blaylock pitched the last two innings and struck out all six batters he faced.
Carroll 17, Central Holmes 0
The Rebels needed just 2 1/2 innings to take a run-rule win over the Trojans to sweep the series.
Carroll scored 10 in the first and seven in the second.
The Rebels had 15 hits and drew four walks. Logan Holly was 3-for-3 with three runs scored and three RBIs while Ethan Mims was 2-for-2 with a double, two runs scored and three RBIs. Reed Thomas and Brandon McKenzie were each 2-for-3 with a double, two runs scored and three RBIs. Reid Blaylock was 2-for-2 and scored two runs while Noah Beck was 2-for-2. Brennan Blaylock walk twice and scored twice while Maddox Carpenter singled scored twice.
Mims started on the mound and threw three innings and gave up just one hit while striking out four.
