The Winona High School girls fast-pitch softball team opened its season on Feb. 10 with a 16-0 win over J.Z. George High School in North Carrollton.
The Lady Tigers scored six runs in the first, three in the second and seven in the third as they outhit J.Z. George 13-2 and took advantage of four errors.
