Winona Christian set to host coaches clinic this Friday

Winona Christian will host a “Football and Fellowship” clinic for area high school football coaches this week.
The free event will be on Friday, July 10 at the Winona Christian School gymnasium.
Winona Christian coach Junior Graham said he thought the clinic was something that would benefit local football coaches.

WCS set to open season at French Camp

Hinton to step down as MHSAA director

Don Hinton has announced that he will retire as executive director of the Mississippi High School Activities Association, effective Dec. 31.
He joined the MHSAA staff Jan. 1, 2011 and became executive director July 1, 2011 following the retirement of Dr. Ennis Proctor.

MHSAA expected to decide on fall sports on July 14

The fate of Mississippi High School Activities Association fall sports might be decided Tuesday. That’s when the MHSAA Executive Committee will meet to determine what adjustments may be necessary to begin the fall season in light of the COVID-19 epidemic.
