Lady Rebels set to host Pillow Academy Thurs.

The Carroll Academy softball team got the season kicked off this past Friday.
The Lady Rebels opened with a 10-0 loss to Pillow and also lost a pair of one-run games on Saturday, falling 3-2 to Manchester and 1-0 to Winona Christian. The Lady Rebels beat Central Holmes 13-0 for their first win of the season.

Stars win four straight to win tourney title

The Winona Christian Lady Stars got off to a hot start to the season with four straight wins and claimed their own tournament title on Saturday.
The Lady Stars beat Indianola 6-0, Carroll 1-0, Benton 5-4 and then beat Manchester 7-4 to win the title.

Tigers getting ready to begin practice on Aug. 17

Official preseason football practice is just around the corner for the Winona Tigers.
The Tigers are set to officially begin preseason practice on Aug. 17 and in the meantime have maintained a “summer workout” schedule until school begins then.
