Season kicks off Friday at Kosciusko

The Tigers were scheduled to play Senatobia last Friday night in a two-quarter scrimmage, but that was cancelled because of rain.

Jags head to Coldwater Friday night

J.Z. George head coach Rusty Smith got a chance to see his players hit some other people in last Friday's scrimmage game at Ethel High School.
Friday night, Smith is hoping to see a lot more of that, plus some, as his Jaguars officially open their 2020 season at Coldwater High School.

Rebels get win in ‘ugly’ matchup

The Carroll Academy football team did what they do best on Friday night.
The Rebels punished Hillcrest Christian with a brutal rushing attack and a hard-hitting defense as they took a 58-6 win Hillcrest Christian.

WCS defeats Indianola

The Winona Christian Lady Stars took control of District 2-3A play last week with a big win over Indianola.
The Lady Stars beat the Lady Colonels 4-1 on Monday in their only game last week.
Winona, now 12-8 on the season, was scheduled to play at Carroll on Monday and then host Indianola on Tuesday in a pair of district games.
