Lady Rebs get big win over Pillow

The Carroll Academy Lady Rebels picked up two more wins this past week on the softball diamond.
Carroll took a big 14-11 win over Pillow last week, a team that had beaten them twice on Saturday and then followed that up with a 10-8 win over Central Holmes on Monday.

Lady Stars win 2-4A district title

The Winona Christian Lady Stars are officially the 2-4A District Champions.
The Lady Star got a pair of district wins, beating Indianola 16-4 on Saturday and 10-0 on Monday.
Monday night’s 12-0 win over Carroll Academy, earned the Lady Stars the 2-4A District Championship. The Lady Stars are undefeated in district play.

Tigers blow out the Tornados, 57-14

The No. 4-ranked Winona High School football team had little resistance as it rolled to a 57-14 win over Philadelphia High School last Friday night.
The Tigers are ranked No. 4 in the latest MSGridiron Little 10 poll and No. 2 in the Class 3A poll.
