   Carroll Academy football coach Bo Milton said that Riverfield was better than their record showed.
   The Raiders certainly showed that on Friday night.
   The Raiders used a stingy defense and took a 22-13 win over the Rebels in the second round of the Class 3A playoffs.

Lady Stars lose three to open basketball season

The Winona Christian Lady Stars opened the basketball season and are off to a rough start.
The Lady Stars lost two games in the Indianola Pre season Tournament, falling 44-23 to Manchester and 47-19 to Desoto. Last week, the Lady Stars lost 50-20 to Heritage.
