Stars avenge Oak Hill loss

Earlier in the season, Winona Christian coach Joey Johnson felt like the Stars let one get away from them at Oak Hill as the Raiders rallied to take a 73-56 win.

But the Stars got their revenge last week as they hammered visiting Oak Hill 56-27 in a key district contest.

For the second straight season, Southern Miss' postseason run ended by being shutout in super regional as the Golden Eagles fell short to Tennessee 5-0.

Goodbye 40: Scott Berry's career at Southern Miss comes to end

The chants of 'Thank you 40' echoed throughout Pete Taylor Park as Southern Miss coach Scott Berry coached the final game of his career.

As Berry soaked in the moment while filled with emotion all the old coach could do was wave his hat to the crowd as a sign of thanks.
