JZG hosts archery match

The J.Z. George High School archery team hosted two matches last week in North Carrollton.

Last Thursday, the Jaguars, Pillow Academy, Winona High School, Leflore Christian School and Neshoba Central High School all competed with Neshoba Central claiming first with a score of 2,996 points.

Stars win three games

After starting the season with two losses, the Winona Christian Stars responded with three wins last week.

The Stars got their first win against J.Z. George, taking a 25-2 victory. The Stars then took two games from Central Holmes, winning 12-2 on Tuesday and 9-5 on Thursday.
