End of season for Stars

The Winona Christian basketball teams saw their season come to an end last week in the Class 4A North State Tournament.

The Lady Stars opened up the tournament with a 49-37 win over Greenville St. Joseph on Monday before they los 50-33 to Kirk Academy on Wednesday.

Soccer wraps up

The Winona High School girls and boys soccer teams were eliminated from the state playoffs with losses on Feb. 6, both against Mooreville High School.

The Lady Tigers fell 7-0 to the Lady Troopers to end their season at 10-2 overall. The Tigers also lost 7-0 to Mooreville, ending their season at 4-7-1 overall.
