Funeral services for Mr. Richie Andrew Scruggs of Winona were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 27, at New Hope Methodist Church, with burial following in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona. The Rev. Bob Cannizzaro officiated the services.
Visitation was held on Thursday, Feb. 27, from 9 a.m. until service time at New Hope Methodist Church in Winona.
Mr. Richie Andrew Scruggs, 65, passed away on Monday, Feb. 24, 2025, at his residence in Winona. He was born in Winona on Nov. 7, 1959. He was a member of New Hope Methodist Church. Richie's hobbies included music, motorcycles, and dirt bikes. He enjoyed fishing and being outdoors in nature.
He is survived by his daughters, Kayley Ryan Scruggs of Decatur, Ga. and Sydney Danielle Scruggs of Brandon; sister, Kim Scruggs Ritchie of Winona; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cora Lee Putman Hester; his father, Robert Earl "Bobby" Scruggs, Jr.; and the mother of his daughters, Beverly Dawn Gleason.
