William A. Keenum of Kilmichael passed away at Diversicare in Eupora on Tuesday, June 2, 2020. He was born in Winfield, Alabama, on August 20, 1935, and was 84 years old. He was the son of the late Hartley and Flora Shaw Keenum and was a cattle farmer for most of his life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a great-granddaughter, Cassidy Keenum.
The family held a private graveside service on Wednesday, June 2, at Poplar Springs Cemetery near Kilmichael, with Dr. David Sartin officiating. There was no visitation.
Mr. Keenum is survived by his wife, Joann Keenum; his daughter, Vickie Sharp (Greg) of Starkville; his sons, Randy Keenum (Julie) of Kilmichael and Dennis Keenum (Pammie) of Winona; three grandchildren, Rodney Keenum, Chad Keenum, and Ashley Sharp; three great-grandchildren, Hagan Trimble, Riata Keenum, and Zane Keenum; several siblings; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
