Virginia Hoover Brewer, 74, of Carrollton died at her home on Sunday, February 23.
Visitation was Tuesday, February 25, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m., at Lee Funeral Home.
Services were held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, February 26, at McCarley Baptist Church in McCarley, with Rev. Rupert Ingram officiating. Burial followed in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton.
Mrs. Brewer was born in Lexington, on March 23, 1945, and was the daughter of the late Berry and Jimmie Inez Alderman Hoover. She was an employee of the Mississippi State Tax Commission, retiring after 28 years, and was a member of McCarley Baptist Church.
Mrs. Brewer was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband, Danny Brewer.
Survivors include her daughter, Denise Mullen (Tim) of McCarley; sons, Wayne McCrary (Jessica) of McCarley and Keefe Brewer (Laurie) of Coila; three grandchildren, Jessica Bowlin, Stacia Fancher, and Austin Brewer; and five great-grandchildren, Brayden, Ann Rylee, and Baylor Bowlin; and Reece and Ella Kate Fancher.
Pallbearers were Michael Shelton, Calvin Bowlin, Barry Brewer, Elliott Fancher, Austin Brewer, and J. P. Bowlin.
