Roy Lee Jones, 69, of Chicago, Ill. and formerly of Vaiden died June 14, 2019 at his home in Chicago.
Visitation was from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m., Friday, June 29 at Sanders and Sanders Funeral Home and continued from 9:30 a.m. until service began at 11 a.m. at Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church in Coila. Rev. Jessie Sawyer officiated and burial was in the church cemetery.
Mr. Jones was a machine operator and a former member of Mount Pleasant Missionary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl Brown Jones, his children Kimberly L. Brown and Roy Dion Jones; five sisters, Mildred Jones, Cassie King, Ella Jean Wright, Evelyn Richardson and Mary Brown; two brothers, Willie Jones and Jessie Jones and four grandchildren all of Chicago.
