Funeral services for Mrs. Patsy Ann Corley were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, at New Bethel Baptist Church in Carroll County, with burial following in the church cemetery. The Rev. Reidis Nash and the Rev. Joseph Sansing officiated the services. Serving as pallbearers were Tim Corley, James Hill Jr., Joe Corley, Benny Corley, Jeffery Moore, and Terry Cox. Honorary pallbearers were Gayland Cox, Hans Campbell, Billy Earl Corder, and Richard Corder.
Visitation was Monday, July 1, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Oliver Funeral Home.
Mrs. Patsy Ann Corley, 87, passed away Saturday, June 29, 2024, at her residence in North Carrollton. She was born in Carroll County on January 23, 1937, to Tillman and Mattie Campbell. Mrs. Corley loved and adored her family. She was a member of the Winona Baptist Temple. She was a woman of faith and a devoted prayer warrior.
Mrs. Corley was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Mr. Joseph Andy Corley, Jr.; one son, Joseph Franklin Corley; one sister and one brother.
Mrs. Corley is survived by two daughters, Jo Ann Hill of Carrollton and Betty Lee Godi of Denton, Texas; three sons, Donnie Corley of North Carrollton, Charles "Blue" Corley of Greenwood and Mike Corley of Houston, Texas; thirteen grandchildren; a host of great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
