Michael Chris Garron (Deek) of Winona, met the eyes of Jesus on Monday September 7, 2020. He passed away suddenly at home and did not suffer. A graveside service was held for him Wednesday September 16, 2020 at 11 a.m. in Forrest Hill Cemetery in Winona.
Chris was born July 28, 1968 in Jackson, to the late James C. and Bernice (Quintero) Garron. He enjoyed life, family members, friends and had a passion for family gatherings when he most often would be on the grill. He was always there to enlighten family and friends.
He was a member of the St. John Baptist Church in Duck Hill, where he served as Deacon. He graduated from Winona High School and began working at the early age of 17 at Tyler Holmes Memorial Hospital, Winona Packing Company, Dixie Roofing and numerous other jobs.
Michael was preceded in death by his parents, James C. and Bernice (Quintero) Garron, brother and sister-in-law Jessie (Teresa) Garron.
He was joined in Holy Matrimony to his best friend Felicia McNeal Garron on March 9, 2013 and joined families with four children.
Survivors include his wife, Felicia McNeal Garron; his son Braylon Garron; three stepchildren Karah, Cohlton and Correy Triplett, Grandson Kayson Garron, siblings James E.Q. Garron, Mary (Purvis) Bibbs, Barbara Garron, Sheila (Roderick) Mallet, Dennis (Tina) Garron of Winona, Calvin (Kenyetta) Glover of Auburn, Ala., Kleveland (Jackie) Glover Coffeeville, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
