Joe Kelly Rowe, 67, of Coila, died Thursday, February 20, 2020 at his residence.
Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 22 at New Hope Cemetery in Carroll County. Visitation will be noon until 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Williams & Lord Funeral Home. Rev. Tommy Clark and Rev. Larry Edwards will officiate.
Mr. Rowe was born in Greenwood, to John Otis Rowe and Janie Bell Bailey on January 29, 1953. He was a 1972 graduate of Carroll Academy. He was a retired lieutenant with the Greenwood Police Department after 20 years of service. He was a member and deacon of New Hope Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sally Rowe of Coila; daughter, Alena Rowe-Lester of Starkville; son, Joseph Rowe and wife Tracie of Birmingham, Ala.; brother Don Rowe and wife Margie of Coila; and five grandchildren, Cooper, Ayla, Morgan, Arya, and Jazmin.
