Jo Ann Stephenson, 86, of Greenwood, Miss., died Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2023, at Riverview Nursing & Rehab. Graveside services were 10 a.m. Thursday in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton, Miss. The Rev. Bennie Watson will officiate.
Mrs. Stephenson was born July 11, 1937, in Greenwood, Miss., to George James Paris and Annie Isabella Ray Paris. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family and shopping. She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald W. Stephenson; son, John David Stephenson; brothers, George Paris Jr. and James Ray Paris; and her parents.
She is survived by her son, Donnie Stephenson and wife, Donna of Carrollton, Miss.; daughters, Mary Stephenson of Brandon, Miss., and Margret Stephenson of Carrollton, Miss.; brother, Warner Paris Sr. of Warner Robins, Ga.; sister Alice Joy Edwards of Ocala, Fla.; eight grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
