Janice Fair, 67, of Weir, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2023, in Jackson. Services were held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 25 at Boyd Chapel United Methodist Church in Sturgis. There was a limited visitation from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24 at Millspring M.B. Church in Weir and visitation from 9:30 a.m. until service time at Boyd Chapel on Saturday. There was no viewing after the eulogy. The Rev. Roosevelt Gage officiated. Masks and social distancing were required at the visitation and funeral services.
She is survived by her husband, Willie Fred Fair of Weir; sons, Fredrick Fair of Reform, Miss. and Marcus Fair of Rienzi, Miss.; sisters, Alvis Adams, Gloria Davis, Willier Glenn of Sturgis and Cassandra Mosley of Starkville; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Sanders and Sanders Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
