A graveside service for Brenda Joyce Henson Liston of Winona was held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 30, in Winona Garden of Memory. Mr. Tony Franks officiated the service.
Brenda Joyce Henson Liston, 80, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 26, 2023, at The Blake at Township in Ridgeland. She was born in Winona on Sept. 17, 1943, to William Arthur and Loyce Ransom Henson. She was a homemaker who loved to host different events and entertain guests, and when she was able, enjoyed tending to her plants and flowers. She was a member of Moore Memorial United Methodist Church in Winona and will be remembered as a fantastic, loving, and adoring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.
She is survived by her son, Bryant "Trey" Curington III (Melanie) of Flora; granddaughter, Madison Curington of Flora; sister, Betty Lou Murphy of Winona; brother, Ranny Henson (Dorothy) of Winona; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William Harry "Bill" Liston.
