Bonnie Powell Key Goldman, of Winona, went to her Heavenly home on June 23, 2021. Her final days were spent surrounded by family and friends whom Bonnie had touched in some way throughout her very memorable life, and she will live on through the memories of those who knew and loved her.
Funeral services were at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 26 at First Baptist Church of Winona. Burial followed at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Independence. Rev. Jay Anderson officiated the service.
She is survived by her loving husband of 35 years, Rudone Goldman of Winona; son, James Key (Jennifer) of Winona; daughter, Lesa Goldman of Winona; brothers, Sanford Powell II of Senatobia and Allan Powell of Grenada; as well as, six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Sanford L. and Alice Rebecca Hood Powell; first husband, James O'Neal Key; brothers, Harry Powell and Ken Powell; and daughter, Rhodonna Goldman. Pallbearers were Dr. George Powell, Chris Powell, Dr. Patrick Powell, Blake Powell, Tyler Politz, and Keo Hill. Honorary pallbearers were Larry Randle and Rev. John L. Walker.
