Mr. Steve Edward Green, 62, of Grenada, passed away on Friday, Feb. 23, 2024, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center – Grenada. He was born on Dec. 6, 1961, in Tupelo to Robert Andrew and Nancy Ethel Kincade Green. Steve had worked as a cabinet maker all of his life and had also served as a Minister in the Church of God.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 26, at McKibben and Guinn Funeral Service in Grenada. Interment will follow in the Providence Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until service time on Monday at McKibben and Guinn.
Survivors include Trudy Morrison Green; daughters, Sidney Samples(Justin) of Grenada and Sharon Smith(Randy) of Carroll County; sons, Glen Green(Chariti) of Grenada and Hank Hood(Macie) of Temple, TX; sister, Nancy Tilghman(George Henson) of Grenada; brother, Allen Green(Sharon) of Duck Hill; ten grandchildren, Steve and Madilyn Green, Micah and Noahlynn Samples, Silas Hood, Megan and J.D. Costilow, and John Conner, Hunter and Jacob Dickson.
He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Joey and Harry Green.
