Frances W. Mullen, 86, of Carrollton, died on Monday, May 27, 2024, at Indywood Glen Personal Care. Services will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday at Carrollton Presbyterian Church with visitation at 1 p.m. until service time at the church. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in North Carrollton. The Rev. Mike Allday will officiate.
Mrs. Mullen was born January 28, 1938, to Jack T. Williamson and Alma Vance Williamson in Carroll County. She was a lifelong resident of Carroll County and was a member of Carrollton Presbyterian Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Mullen, sister, Sarah Mosley, and brothers, Bill Williamson and J.T. Williamson. She was a dedicated wife, mother, and grandmother.
She is survived by her daughters, Shanda Coleman and husband Jeff of Carrollton, and Jackie Clay and husband Gary of Carrollton; grandchildren, Memrie Turner and husband Ken, Justin Coleman and wife Amanda, Brandon Clay and wife Rachelle, and Emily Nesbitt and husband Taylor; and seven great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Justin Coleman, Brandon Clay, Ken Turner, Taylor Nesbitt, Byron D. Mosley, and Landon Turner. Honorary pallbearers will be the deacons and elders of Carrollton Presbyterian Church, and Bill Lord.
