Graveside services for Dorothy "Mamaw" Perry of Winona will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 19, at Winona Garden of Memory, with the Rev. Daniel Herring officiating.
Visitation will be held Friday, Jan.19, from noon until service time at Oliver Funeral Home.
Dorothy Perry, 92, passed away Sunday, Jan. 14, 2024, at the Vaiden Community Living Center in Vaiden.
She was born in McCarley to Horace and Nannie Ray on July 8, 1931. She worked for JA Olsen as a plant supervisor. Mrs. Perry was a loving caregiver for many children she babysat for over 20 years. Mrs. Perry had a very giving and charitable heart. She was a member of North Winona Baptist church where she loved to attend when she was able.
Mrs. Perry is survived by her son, Chris Perry of Grenada; two grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Willie O. Perry and James B. "Buddy" Bacon; three sisters; and two brothers.
