Wiley Charles Prewitt

Wiley Charles Prewitt passed away on May 13, 2024, at his home in Winona, with his family by his side.

He was born in Kosciusko on Sept. 17, 1939, to Frank Dudley Prewitt and Beatrice Bell “Pudd” Prewitt. They were educators who resided in McAdams, and he was soon joined by a younger brother, Frank Jr.

Bobby Weed

Final arrangements have been made for the graveside memorial for Bobby Weed, scheduled for Saturday, June 1, at 11 a.m. at Bethlehem Methodist Church Cemetery. Bobby is the son of Warren and Claire Herring Weed and the brother of Scott Warren Weed (Corey) and Carley Weed Moore.

Robert Emlyn Herring, 72, died peacefully at his home in Winona on May 7, 2024. This was only eight days after the death of his nephew and namesake Bobby (Robert Duane) Weed. A graveside memorial will be held on Sunday, June 2, in Oakwood Cemetery in Winona at 4 p.m.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 26, at Carrollton Baptist Church with the Rev. Dustin Long officiating. Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday prior to the service.
