A Winona teen is facing aggravated assault charges stemming from an incident that occurred on May 8.
According to court documents, Roddarius Fort, 19, of Winona was arrested on July 17, 2018, and charged with aggravated assault.
Fort stands accused of shooting Rokeem Eskridge in the left ankle on May 8 on Schneider Drive in Winona.
Tuesday in Winona City Court, Fort waived his right to a preliminary hearing to the felony charge. He was represented by Public Defender Lee Bailey.
In an entirely separate case, Fort pleaded guilty to trespassing and was fined $329.25.
Winona City Court Judge Donald Bond found Charles Fleming guilty of trespassing in the same case. Fleming was fined $329.25 after Bond heard testimony in a short hearing Tuesday.
