The Carroll County Board of Supervisors held a recessed meeting on Monday at 9 a.m. in Vaiden.
The board met with their LS & Associates insurance agents Les Smith and Mark Bailey. Smith told the board that right now they’re in a rate hold and none of their rates will be going up or decreasing. He advised them to remain with their current insurer.
“We can search the market for you all but I’d highly recommend you all stay where you are,” Smith said.
The board agreed and voted not to make any changes.
The board also:
Approved a 60-day extension for County Roads 83 and 316 and a 120-day extension for Coila Creek Road or County Road 217 and County Road 145.
Approved Tammy Inmon to attend a MARVIN conference.
