Blessings for All will sponsor a summer feeding program at the Winona Housing Authority the months of June and July. The program will end on Aug. 2.
The summer feeding program will be held from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. June 3 through Aug. 2 at the Winona Housing Authority Pavilion, 902 North Union Street, Winona. Woods said on Mondays and Wednesdays, the hours are extended.
“On Mondays and Wednesdays, it’ll be from 11 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. We’re going to have special guests every Monday and Wednesday,” she said. Woods said some of the guests lined up are: Winona Fire Department, Winona Police Department, Millennium Men and Queens of Millennium Men, both of Duck Hill, Kathryn Allman Project Director with Mississippi Tobacco Free Coalition for Montgomery, Choctaw and Webster counties, Mary Catherine Hoover, DMD and Families First of Greenwood.
Also, Woods said if anyone is still in need of a smoke detector, they can contact her. She said the program is still ongoing and there is no requirement. The smoke detectors are given through the American Red Cross.
