For anyone who wants to know where a candidate stands and wants a chance to pick their brains, there’s an opportunity for you to come out and meet the hopefuls wanting to lead Carroll and Montgomery counties, on the local and statewide level for the next four years.
In Carroll County, the Carroll County Republican Party will hold its political rally at 10 a.m. Saturday, May 4 on the steps of the Carroll County Courthouse in Carrollton. The rally is open to anyone, republican or democrat, that’s running for election in Carroll County and statewide to tell voters why they are the best choice.
Also during the rally, members of Liberty Baptist Church will sell barbecue plates. The funds raised from the plate sale will go toward sending their youth on a mission trip.
In Montgomery County, the Montgomery County Voter’s League will hold a meet the candidate from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the Montgomery County Courtroom. The event is the first opportunity for many voters to meet all candidates, democratic or republican, that’s running for any office in Montgomery County or statewide.
The Voter’s League will also hold a political rally on June 29 at the Montgomery County Courthouse. More information on the rally will be released when it is given.
