A Winona man has been bound over to the action of the Montgomery County Grand Jury after waiving his right to a preliminary hearing.
John Baskin of Winona is charged with two counts of burglary and malicious mischief. In an earlier interview, Captain Dan Herod, Chief Investigator for the Winona Police Department, said Baskin is charged in connection with the Oct. 2 burglary of the Frito Lay Distribution Center.
He said merchandise such as snack cakes were stolen in the burglary, however, the burglar did damage to the building’s surveillance camera system in the building during the course of the burglary.
Judge Alan D. Lancaster set Baskin’s bond at $5,000.
