CARROLLTON-- With the end of the school year, brings about a shift. Teachers may leave for a new job, which will bring in a new teacher and a new way of learning. But, for Marshall, the 2019-2020 year will bring a new administrator.
Superintendent Billy Joe Ferguson said Dr. Fletcher Harges, principal at Marshall Elementary School, will not be returning in the fall. Ferguson said Harges has accepted the job as principal of Greenwood High School.
He said Harges’ contract will end on June 3. He came to the district in 2013 and served five years at Marshall. While there, Marshall was successfully a C-rated school.
