NATIONAL SUMMARY
Locally heavy thunderstorms will rumble from central New
York and southwestern New England to New Jersey,
Pennsylvania, Maryland, West Virginia, western Virginia and
eastern Kentucky tomorrow. The rain is needed in New York
and New England, but it may come at the risk of flash
flooding. The risk of flash flooding will extend through
southeastern Pennsylvania, northwestern New Jersey,
Maryland, West Virginia, western Virginia and eastern
Kentucky. Much farther west, thunderstorms will also bring
the risk of flash flooding to eastern Nevada and western
Utah. Late-afternoon thunderstorms with the potential to
produce flooding downpours, hail and damaging wind gusts
will develop in southeastern North Dakota, eastern South
Dakota and northwestern Minnesota.
