NATIONAL SUMMARY
Showers will spread across much of the eastern United States
tomorrow. More peristent rain and drizzle will stretch from
northern New York south to northern Georgia. In New England
there can be a bit of drizzle, freezing on some surfaces,
especially in the interior locations. Along the central Gulf
coast, thunderstorms, some heavy will rumble. Heavy
downpours overnight in the Southeast can lead to flooding in
low-lying and in poor drainage areas. Meanwhile, there will
be a quick burst of snow across the northern Plains as it
turns sharply colder with a strong breeze. It will be dry in
the West, with at least some sun. In the Central California
valleys patchy fog is expected to start the day. A Santa Ana
wind event can lead to dangerous crosswinds and a high fire
danger in Southern California.
