NATIONAL SUMMARY
Lake-effect snow downwind of the Great Lakes in northwestern
Pennsylvania and upstate New York tomorrow can lead to
slippery roads. A few flurries may reach central
Pennsylvania; otherwise, the Northeast will largely be dry,
cold and breezy, but windier toward the coast. Periods of
rain with some thunder can occur in central and southern
Texas, with a few showers heading toward Houston. The Plains
will be dry but warmer. The Ohio River Valley will remain
cold. The Southeast will also mostly be dry and cool.
Morning low temperatures can be around freezing or even
subfreezing along the northern Gulf coast. Out West, it will
largely be dry with high pressure in control. There can be
some morning fog in the valleys of the Intermountain West.
