NATIONAL SUMMARY
A storm will travel across the Great Lakes tomorrow,
bringing showers and thunderstorms across this region.
Thunderstorms can become heavy to even locally severe across
portions of Ohio and Pennsylvania, and will be capable of
producing damaging winds and hail, mainly in the afternoon
and at night. On the other side of the nation, showers and
thunderstorms will continue from California to Oregon and
Idaho as a storm moves into the coast. There can be a zone
of steadier rain across Northern California and southern
Oregon. Thunderstorms can bring small hail across parts of
Central and Southern California. Elsewhere across the
country, dry weather will continue as high pressure remains
in control. Temperatures will trend 10-20 degrees Fahrenheit
above historical averages across the center of the nation.
