The Nation's Weather for Thursday, March 10, 2022
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
A stalled front extending from a strengthening low off the
coast will produce more rounds of heavy rain tomorrow from
northern Florida to the Carolinas. There will also be
locally severe weather within these storms, with the main
threat being strong winds. Elsewhere, a storm in the Rockies
will produce a swath of snow extending from Nevada to
Illinois. The heaviest band is expected to set up over
Kansas City, Missouri, which will lead to travel delays.
Spots from the Oklahoma Panhandle to Illinois will be
significantly colder. The Northeast will be a bit warmer.
There will also be a few windy areas across the nation,
