The Nation's Weather for Tuesday, April 25, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
As a storm system takes shape over the central United States
tomorrow, rain and thunderstorms are set to develop over the
central and southern Plains. This will bring drought relief
to much of the region, though will also lead to a severe
weather threat for portions of Oklahoma and Texas,
especially during the afternoon and evening hours. Large
hail, damaging winds and frequent lightning will all be
possible due to these storms. In Colorado, rain is expected
in most locations during the day, though this is likely to
change to accumulating snow overnight, mainly on the Palmer
Divide and west of Interstate 25. An upper low over the
Northeast will keep cloudy conditions and a few showers
across the region.
