The Nation's Weather for Saturday, February 4, 2023
_____
NATIONAL SUMMARY
Frigid air will loosen its grip over the Midwest, Great
Lakes and interior Northeast tomorrow, but the Arctic chill
and wind will remain in New England and the coastal
mid-Atlantic. The entire region will turn much warmer to end
the weekend. A new storm coming ashore in the West will
spread rain and mountain snow from Washington to Northern
California. A cold front and low pressure area will cause
showers to dampen the east coast of South Florida. A breezy
to windy day is also likely in much of the Florida
Peninsula, even where rain is not expected. Much of the rest
of the nation is forecast to be dry. Higher temperatures
will allow any remaining ice to melt across the South. Dry
weather will continue in the region through at least early
next week.
