It’s Spring Break!!!! One of the most exciting weeks of the year. The sun is shining, spring is in the air, you are sleeping in, or maybe you are taking a trip with your family, but whatever you are doing, this week is a break from the normal.
Sometimes a break is the very thing that we need, and it always comes around at the right time. My favorite thing about Spring Break is it gets me rejuvenated for the last leg of the school year and prepares me to end the school year well.
One of my favorite stories in the bible is the story of Elijah. Elijah had been running from an army that had been chasing him, and he was tired, worn out, ready to quit, and that’s exactly what he told God. Well God in all of his wisdom provided Elijah a place to rest, sent Angels to feed him, and then told him to take a nap. When Elijah awoke he was ready to get back in the fight, to get back to the purpose that the Lord had for him. So this week take a nap, eat some food, and take a good rest.
