Good people!
I want to officially thank everyone who volunteered their time and resources during our time of crisis on behalf of the Town of Duck Hill.
Our first responders, staff, and technical consultants were effective and efficient in their call to action. Our licensed water consultant, Shemeka Grice, secured the generator from Rural Water Association. This was significant in getting the town’s main water pumping station back online.
I would also like to thank the Mississippi Rural Water Association, Consultant-inspector, Jason Boyle with Luckett Pump; Cook Goggin Engineers, Inc., Delta Electric, Gregory McDaniel, Louis Dirt Works, Entergy, Blessings For All Empowered by Faith and the Red Cross, as well as my many friends and associates from around the state who called to offer their services.
